Hearing a label

Open the app, point the camera at a museum label, hold the phone steady and tap the capture button. The app reads the label aloud in the language shown at the top of the screen, and highlights each sentence as it is read. Tap the language to change it. Tap Learn more for important terms and interesting facts with their sources.

If a label is not recognised, move closer so the text fills most of the frame, avoid glare from glass, and try again.

Credits and purchases

Each label you hear uses one credit. Each new iPhone starts with five free credits. To buy more, open Settings and tap Buy credits. Purchases are handled by Apple. If credits you paid for did not appear, open Settings, then Account, and tap Restore purchases. For refunds, use Apple's Report a Problem page.

Deleting your account

Open Settings, then Account, and tap Delete account. This removes your account and the data linked to it, as described in the Privacy Policy.
